Eva Marie Saint – Born in 1924

Eva Marie Saint, a Hollywood veteran, is still remembered for her role as Marlon Brando’s love interest in the 1954 film “On the Waterfront.” Her outstanding performance in the film earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Following this success, she was cast in Alfred Hitchcock’s “North by Northwest.”

Eva began her television career in 1946 with an appearance on NBC’s “Campus Hoopla,” and she has thrived ever since. Despite occasionally taking on minor roles, she remains committed to her craft. In 2014, she starred in “Winter’s Tale” and provided the voice for the animated series “The Legend of Korra.”
